MG ALBA employs over 40 staff. Its main business is the commissioning of audiovisual media content from media production companies and the operation of the Gaelic audiovisual service BBC ALBA in collaboration with the BBC.
Services sought
MG ALBA has a number of exciting projects planned and require the services of a Project Co-Ordinator to assist in the successful delivery of these projects.
The Project Co-ordinator will create and manage the project plan and budget for several small projects which involve the co-ordination of MG ALBA staff, external talent, and consultants to drive towards key milestones and delivery.
The key skills and experience required for these services are:
- Experience of working across multi discipline teams;
- An eye for detail and good administrative and project management skills;
- Basic budget creation & management skills;
- Experience in Production Coordination or Project Management;
- Experience in managing basic post-production process;
- Knowledge of audio-visual rights & clearance procedures;
- An ability to bring a team together for maximum efficiency; and
- An ability to draft and engage with HR re short term service contracts.
Gaelic language skills are preferred.
Timescale
The contract will begin on 6 May 2024 and end on 16 August 2024. It is expected that the average commitment will be 2 days per week.
Contract Management
The main points of contact for this contract will be MG ALBA’s Head of Digital Transformation and Director of Content.
Pricing
MG ALBA has set aside up to £9,000 ex VAT for the contract.
