MG ALBA seek to recruit a project engineer. The postholder will be a motivated self-starter able to work without supervision and have excellent time management skills to deliver on a range of broadcast infrastructure projects. The successful applicant will have excellent knowledge of both traditional and IP based broadcast infrastructure, studio and outside broadcast, video and audio post-production, intercom and satellite / IP live links. This role requires a flexible approach to working hours to meet project requirements, some weekend and night-time working will be required

You will also mentor operations technicians and apprentices to develop their skills and support all aspects of MG ALBA’s creative output to achieve the highest standard.
The role is based at MG ALBA’s Stornoway headquarters but some travel will be required to our other locations and to meet with service providers and equipment suppliers.
