Operations Technician
Grade B2, £22,742-£24,093 per annum
Full time, permanent contract, based in Stornoway

Who are we looking for?

Are you a team player? Are you interested in working in TV production? Do you have video/audio experience?

If the answer to those questions is “yes” and if you are good at working with people, with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work, we would be very interested to hear from you.  You will need to have proficiency in Gaelic, or be actively learning the language.

The role

The Operations Technician will work as part of the Operations Team carrying out a range of studio and post production tasks both within the broadcast facilities at MG ALBA and on location. The majority of the working week will consist of the editing and the mixing of audio for channel presentation material.

Training will be provided on specific aspects of the workflows in place to ensure you are fully equipped to carry out your duties.
