MG ALBA are pleased to be recruiting for 5 Summer Placements to be hosted as temporary employed posts during June-August 2021.

We would love to hear from individuals who are keen to gain employment experience as part of their course of studies and acquire skills working within the Gaelic media environment. Candidates should be fluent Gaelic speakers.

This year’s placements are based within specific teams and are project related. Details of the teams and projects are listed below.

Our Summer Placement Programme will include a full joining/induction programme, regular group and attainment reviews with members of management and a completion skills certificate.

Scope / Experience Provided: Digital content and social media experience

Contract Term: Fixed Term – 10 weeks

Manager: Operations Manager (Resources)

Scope / Experience Provided: Operations/Technical experience

Contract Term: Fixed Term – 10 weeks

Base: Stornoway Campus

Post: Summer Placements (x 1)

Manager: Director of Finance / Corporate

Scope / Experience Provided: Finance/Business Affairs/Corporate experience

Contract Term: Fixed Term – 10 weeks

Base: Remote

Post: Summer Placements (x 1)

Manager: Communications Manager

Scope / Experience Provided: Comms/Marketing experience

Contract Term: Fixed Term – 10 weeks
