MG ALBA is looking for a natural networker and communicator. Someone with a positive attitude who is just as good with people as they are with digital platforms.
This is an exciting post for someone who is passionate about the impact of Gaelic media on language, culture, communities, jobs and society in general. Working closely with the leadership team, you will make sure that MG ALBA is speaking to and listening to all our key stakeholders – in person, at events, on the phone, online and on social media.
If you are a highly literate Gaelic speaker who has communications experience and is comfortable working at a fast pace, we would be interested in hearing from you.
Who are we?
MG ALBA and the BBC, in partnership, deliver BBC ALBA and – with Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and supported by Bòrd na Gàidhlig – LearnGaelic and SpeakGaelic. We are also responsible for FilmG, which is delivered by a digital media partner on our behalf. We are funded by the Scottish Government and overseen by Ofcom.

We have offices in Stornoway and Glasgow, with an Agile Working Policy in place.
