Lisa Annette (26) from Mallaig has worked for MG ALBA, the Gaelic Media Service, for 4 years where she is employed as a Schedule Producer working on the production and technical side of BBC ALBA.

Lisa joined MG ALBA in 2008 having graduated from Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the Gaelic college on the Isle of Skye, with a BA Gaelic Language and Culture in 2007.

Donald Campbell, Chief Executive of MG ALBA said: “Over the past 5 years, NITV and BBC ALBA have been working together to share our knowledge, insights, news and programmes through the World Indigenous Television Broadcasters Network (WITBN). Tanya Denning and her team at NITV have been a source of inspiration to those of us working in indigenous language media. We are delighted that Lisa will have the opportunity to develop this bond even further on our behalf and we wish her every success as she takes up her placement with NITV.”

NITV Channel Manager, Tanya Denning said: “NITV is privileged to be able to share opportunities for the staff of WITBN organisations to undertake exchanges with each other though the WITBN partnership. This will give opportunities for staff to develop their skills further and gain a greater understanding of the various Indigenous channels around the world.”

During her time with NITV, Lisa will be based in Sydney and working with NITV Sport, headed by ex-Wallabies Captain Mark Ella.
