Mar phàirt de dh’obair a companaidh, Perform2Scucceed, tha an Cathraiche ùr an sàs ann a bhith a’ trèanadh phroifeiseantaich a tha aig àrd-ire nan dreuchd. Airson faisg air 20 bliadhna, suas gu 2009, bha i ag obair ann an dreuchdan aig àrd-ìre aig a’ BhBC, nam measg na co-obraiche san dreuchd Ceann Phrògraman agus Sheirbheisean agus Ceannard Radio aig BBC Scotland. Fileanta sa Ghàidhlig, tha Magaidh cuideachd na Stiùiriche air Sàbhal Mòr Ostaig, colaiste nàiseanta na Gàidhlig san Eilean Sgitheanach; na ball de Chùirt Oilthigh Taobh Siar na h-Alba; na h-urrasair air Columba 1400 agus tha i air a bhith an sàs, bho thòisich e, sa bhuidheann carthannais Sistema Scotland, am buidheann a thug am prògram ‘Big Noise Raploch’ gu bith.

Thuirt Magaidh: “Tha mi air leth toilichte a bhith a’ tòiseachadh an-diugh nam Chathraiche ùr air MG ALBA.

“Tha piseach mòr air a thighinn air craoladh Gàidhlig bho thòisich BBC ALBA ann an 2008 agus tha mi a’ coimhead air adhart le toileachas ri bhith a’ cur mo thaic ris na meadhanan Gàidhlig thar nan ceithir bliadhna a tha romhainn.

“Tha MG ALBA misneachail mun àm ri teachd, a dh’aindeoin nan dùbhlain a tha ron ghnìomhachas craolaidh agus leis an ro-innleachd cheart agus an tàlant air leth a th’ againn, tha mi a’ sùileachadh gun tèid sinn bho neart gu neart sna bliadhnaichean ri thighinn.

“Fo stiùir Alasdair Moireasdan, tha MG ALBA air ceumannan mìorbhaileach a ghabhail, nam measg BBC ALBA a’ dol air an àidhear agus an leasachadh a tha air a thighinn air ar co-fharpais airson filmichean goirid Gàidhlig, FilmG. Tha mi airson moladh mòr a thoirt do dh’Alasdair airson an obair air leth a rinn e thar nan ceithir bliadhna a dh’fhalbh.”
